OUR STORY
Founded by brothers Neil and Mike Tinmouth, the ACUA Ocean team brings together more than a century of combined experience in the maritime sector.
Prior to ACUA Ocean, Neil was a founding member of the GEBCO Alumni team that won the Shell Ocean Discovery XPrize for autonomous ocean mapping, whilst Mike has been an innovation mentor to the UK Ministry of Defence since 2019.

Our vision is to be the leading platform for the collection and provision of equitable and accessible maritime data. We do so through the use of zero emission technology in order to sustainably unlock the economic, environmental and societal value of the blue economy.

CMDC3 Pilot project commences

H-USV launch

The H-USV vessel will undergo Harbour Acceptance Testing at Turnchapel Wharf in November 2024.
ACUA secured funding from the UK Department of Transport under the CMDC Round 3 to deliver a pilot project from Plymouth and Aberdeen.
